Calling for all African descended religion scholars in the UK!
We are seeking statistics on African descended people in the study of religion (Religious Academia). This includes but is not limited to such disciplines as: Biblical studies, Islamic Studies, Theology, Christian / Religious History, and Christian Education. We are interested in people who hold permanent, full-time posts within the United Kingdom as Professors or Lecturers. We are also interested in the statistical breakdown of African descended people whose research receives funding (i.e., Leverhulme, AHRC, ESRC or any other British/European funding agency).
We need this information to advance proposals which we believe will open additional doors for those whose religious knowledge production has typically been overlooked. Your information will be gratefully received. Thank you in advance.
