Thank you so much for supporting the Misogynoir to Mishpat (M2M) Research Network which amplifies the religious epistemologies of African descended women. Our goal is to increase awareness of such women in religious leadership, religious academia (in all phases, and within all disciplines of religion), and religious activism. When returning from our hiatus, on February 1, 2023, we will post our brand new newsletter for February.
Please stay tuned for the announcement of profiles, seminars and publication opportunities. This year, our research network’s theme is “Power on the Margins: Open the Gates!” Each month, we will explore the theme as we offer a combination of blogs, videos, seminars, funding and job opportunities, and mentorship opportunities. We are especially interested in strengthening the contributions of Postdoctoral Scholars and Early Career Researchers. If you, or anyone you know shares that desire, please join us for our seminar on February 22, 2023. During the seminar, we will move forward on our mentorship agenda and also solicit contributions for a special issue for the African Journal of Gender and Religion.
